Delhi To Hemkund Sahib Yatra

A car journey from Delhi to Hemkund Sahib is feasible, but it's a long trip, taking roughly 14-16 hours, and is best spread over two days. The route typically involves driving to Rishikesh, then Rudraprayag, Joshimath, and finally Govindghat, from where the trek to Hemkund Sahib begins. Day 01: Delhi - Rishikesh
Meet and greet by our driver who will take you on the drive towards Rishikesh, on arrival check in to the hotel, later you can take a city tour of Rishikesh, later in the evening visit Triveni Ghat to witness evening Ganga Aarti.

Day 02: Rishikesh - Joshimath (272 km / 8-9 hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Joshimath via Devprayag is a holy city that is at the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers, after this the rivers become the holy Ganges. We Arrive at Joshimath in the evening and check into a hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Joshimath - Ghangaria (25 km / 5-6 hrs)
After having breakfast, start the day with a drive to Govindghat and start trekking to Ghangaria, there is a gradual ascent along a well-maintained pilgrim trail to Ghangaria. Upon arrival at Ghangaria check into a hotel. Explore the surroundings in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Ghangaria - Hemkund Sahib - Ghangaria (6 kms one way / 4-5 hrs)
In the morning we trek to Hemkund Sahib (4329 m) from Ghangaria. This is quite a steep climb. In the Sikh holy book, The Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh Guru Gobind Singh recounts that in a previous life, he meditated on the shores of a lake surrounded by seven snow-capped mountains now recognized as Hemkund. Late afternoon trek back to Ghangaria. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel accommodation.

Day 05: Ghangaria - Valley of flowers - Ghangaria (5 km one way / 4-5 hrs)
Today after an early breakfast we start our trek towards the Valley Of Flowers (3858 m) from Ghangaria. The valley is enchanting with an impressive array of rare wildflowers like Geranium, Marsh etc. The valley is 10 km long, 2 km wide, and is divided by the Pushpawati stream, into which several tiny streams and waterfalls merge. After absorbing the beauty of the Valley of Flowers we trek back to Ghangaria. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06: Ghangaria -Govindghat - Rishikesh
Today will be the most complex day on one side as our trek will end here and we will drive back to Govindghat later we will proceed to drive to Later, we will drive back to Rishikesh. On arrival check in to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 07: Rishikesh - Delhi
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi, arrive Delhi in the evening.
